Severin Films and Intervision Picture Corp are excited for an EPIC Black Friday sale in the year of our Jess 2022! In order for things to go as smoothly as possible, please take a few minutes to read over the following information. It covers all the ins and outs with policy updates specific to this sale. There is lots of new VERY IMPORTANT information (especially with shipping rates, how to properly add to your existing order, and every other FAQ which have ALL been updated) so please read through carefully.
PLEASE NOTE: As always, we do NOT abide by our usual 5 to 7 business day shipping timeframe for the month following the Black Friday Sale. Our small but diligent shipping crew will be processing upwards of 20K packages, so please understand that it could take up to 6 weeks to get all orders shipped. We also NEVER guarantee Christmas delivery, so please keep that in mind if you are shopping for gifts.

The Sale will start on Friday (11/25) at Midnight EST. The sale will end at 3 AM EDT on the following Tuesday (11/29). Our website will be shut down for a few days BEFORE the sale to make price adjustments and organize listings. Once the site opens for the sale, all you need to do is add your items to your cart and checkout without the hassle of entering a code.

The Black Friday Sale FAQs
Your site is down/I cannot log in. Why? Please be mindful that our website will close down the Monday (11/21) before Black Friday and will remain closed up until the sale goes live at Midnight going in to Friday. After the sale ends, the website will be closed again for a full week and will return on Tuesday, December 6th.
Do you ship internationally? What about free shipping? I thought your Free Shipping tiers were lower. Yes, we ship all over the world. Shipping rates are carefully calculated to factor in the ever-growing USPS shipping rates, our handling fees, and supplies used. Our site also offers FREE economy shipping (Media Mail for U.S. orders). For FREE shipping eligibility:
- U.S. residents must spend $100 and over.
- Canadian residents must spend $150 USD and over.
- All other countries: Going forward, Severin Films will NO LONGER offer Free International Shipping. For this sale, International Customers will be charged the normal rates until they reach the $200 USD mark, where they will be charged a flat fee of $25 USD for shipping. For the rest of the year when there is not a Black Friday or Mid Year Sale, the $25 flat shipping fee will appear as an option on regular international orders of $150 and up.
PLEASE NOTE: The FREE SHIPPING TIERS are raised at EVERY Mid Year and Black Friday Sale of EVERY year. This is not a new process.
FOR CANADIAN AND OTHER INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS, PLEASE NOTE: If your order is returned back to our facility, we will contact the provided email to inform you of the situation and you will need to either pay for re-shipment of your order (unless the fault is on our end) or cancel it for a refund of just the cost of the items only.
I’ve placed an order but would like to add to it. Can I add to my existing order? Yes. We have implemented a new plug-in on our website that will allow all U.S. and Canadian customers to add on to their already existing Black Friday orders during the sale. This is important information so please read carefully. If you are a U.S. or Canadian customer and you want to add additional items to your Black Friday order, it’s as simple as going to the webstore and just placing another order. You WILL be charged for shipping when you place additional orders. Once the additional order(s) come through, the system will combine them automatically for us as well as immediately refund the shipping you paid on those additional orders. You MUST make sure to use your EXACT email address and shipping address in your additional order(s) or they will not combine on our end and your additional shipping charges will not be refunded. This function will ONLY be available during our Black Friday Sale (and will most likely be re-introduced in all future sales going forward).
For International Customers: Unfortunately, this automatic functionality is not available. We apologize for this inconvenience. If you place multiple orders during the Black Friday sale, our Customer Service team will be working throughout the sale to manually combine orders and refund any excess shipping charges if applicable. Please do NOT email in to ask for our Customer Service team to manually create additional orders. If you have not received notification of your excess shipping fees being refunded from your additional orders by Wednesday, November 30, then please email customer service at firstname.lastname@example.org and someone will be with you shortly to assist you. Why are you not answering my emails? The ONLY acceptable place to email us during the Black Friday sale is email@example.com. Please do NOT email individual Severin employees at their personal email addresses. Please do NOT message Severin employees directly through their social media accounts. Questions about the sale, orders, or the website CANNOT be be answered through our Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter pages. Please email ONE email to firstname.lastname@example.org ONLY.
I did not receive an order confirmation. Did my order go through? Confirmations get sent out to the provided emails on orders. Please ensure that the email you entered at checkout is accurate and free of misspellings (“.con” is a very common misspelling) and that you have checked all of your email folders (spam, junk, promotions, etc.) after placing the order. Also make sure you didn’t set up your account to receive order confirmations via text message to your phone. If you received a PayPal receipt please know this is valid confirmation that we have received your order, but if you’d prefer a receipt from us, please email email@example.com with RESEND MY ORDER CONFIRMATION in the subject line and it will be addressed as soon as possible. Please Note: We receive over a thousand emails at every sale so it will take time to respond to each and every person. Please do NOT send multiple emails. This only slows the process down for everyone.
What is the status of my order? When will I get my order? Will I get this order before Christmas? My best friend Johnny Slipcover from two states over got his order before me, why? We will begin packaging orders AFTER the sale ends on WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 30. A tracking notification email will be sent to the email address that you provided us with via our shipping program, Shipstation, once your order is physically processed. Again, please ensure that the email address you give us is free of misspellings and that you have checked all of your email folders (spam, junk, promotions, etc.) for your confirmation BEFORE reaching out to us. PLEASE NOTE: We anticipate Black Friday Sale shipping to last anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks. Please keep this in mind before emailing us about your order status. We do NOT guarantee Christmas delivery so please keep that in mind when you are shopping our sale.
Where is my order? Is my order lost? Can you do something about my traveling order? Once a processed order is picked up by the Postal Service and leaves our facility, it is out of our hands and we have ZERO control over how fast or slow your package travels to its final destination. It is YOUR responsibility to take your tracking number to your local Post Office and inquire with them about your delayed/potentially lost package. A helpful tool is to ask your PO to check the GPS coordinates of your package to see where it went. We will be happy to step in and resolve this issue once the tracking of your package has shown over two weeks of inactivity (or 2 months of inactivity for International orders). If you placed an order over $100 and think your delivered package was stolen, you will need to provide proof of a filed police report before we can resend a new package.
My package was marked as DELIVERED but I can’t find it anywhere. What do I do next? If the PO marked your package as “DELIVERED” yet you are unable to find it, please allow up to a week for the Post Office to fix this. If a week has gone by and there is still no sign of your “DELIVERED” order, we will initiate a replacement. If you selected Free Shipping in the previous order, you will be charged for shipping plus adult signature confirmation for the replacement order. Any detection of fraud or chargeback will immediately result in a permanent suspension from ordering on our website.
I’d like to cancel my order. How do I do this? For the Black Friday Sale, we will NOT cancel any orders that contain a brand new Black Friday Sale item (this includes any of the brand new titles or merchandise) or pre-order. Also, keep in mind that if you want to edit your order, we can perform this function without doing a full order cancellation (PLEASE DO NOT PLACE A SECOND ORDER BEFORE REACHING OUT TO US). If your order does NOT contain a new Black Friday item, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with CANCEL MY ORDER in the subject line and it will be addressed as soon as possible. If the correct subject line is not put in (or you send multiple emails), then you run the risk of your email not being answered in a timely manner.

I received my order but there is a mistake. How can we fix this? If we gave you the wrong item or forget an item then no problem! Please email email@example.com with INCORRECT ORDER in the subject line and it will be addressed as soon as possible AFTER we have completed shipping all Black Friday Sale orders. If the correct subject line is not used (or you send multiple emails), then you run the risk of your email not being answered in a timely manner. Be mindful that we hand weigh EVERY package when it’s completed and labeled, so we can pretty easily tell if a customer is committing fraud by telling us they didn’t receive an item when in fact they did. For damages or wrong items sent, you’ll be asked to provide picture proof for our records. Any detection of fraud will immediately result in a permanent suspension from ordering on our website. My Slipcover/Box set has a tiny ding on it. Can I get a replacement? Per our Slipcover and Box Set Replacement Policies, we do not replace items with minor wear and tear, small dings/dents, or minor scuffs. Thank you for your understanding.
Where are the DVDs? We have officially phased out our DVD releases from our webstore aside from a small handful of our DVD-only releases.
Can I be rude and insult your Customer Service team? Any rudeness or harassment will NOT be tolerated and such emails will not be answered
Are your Blu-rays/DVDs region free? Most of them are, but a small amount are not. Each listing on our site will have Region Code information included within the body description.
If I pre-order an item, will I be charged when it ships or upfront? Upfront.
