Severin Films and Intervision Picture Corp bring you Severin’s Summer Sale 2026! Please help us make things go as smoothly as possible by reading over the following information. It covers all the ins and outs of the sale, what’s on sale, when it’s on sale, etc. There’s lots of information below (an updated sales tax policy, a SIMPLIFIED add to your existing order shipping option, ways to ship your orders separately, estimated shipping timelines and more in the FAQ section) so please read each section carefully.

PLEASE NOTE: As always, we do NOT abide by our usual 7 business day shipping timeframe for any order placed during the month following the Severin Sale. Our shipping warehouse will be processing upwards of 20K packages, so please understand that it could take up to 6 to 8 weeks from the start of shipping to get all orders shipped. We also NEVER guarantee Holiday or Birthday delivery, so please keep that in mind if you are shopping for gifts.

Additionally, we are unable to combine any Summer Sale Orders with any previously placed and outstanding orders of Pre-Orders. All existing orders that contain a Pre-Order will ship immediately upon landing at our Shipping Facility.

Severin Films Sale FAQs

** Summer Sale Orders are unable to be combined with previously placed pre-orders. Any EXISTING pre-orders will ship SEPARATELY from any Summer sale order that is placed. **

I’ve placed an order but would like to add to it. Can I add to my existing order? Yes! We have implemented a new process for adding to your existing order specifically for this four-day sales event. To utilize it you will want to make sure that you are LOGGED IN when you place your first order and any subsequent orders. For all additional orders that you place during the sale you will see the FREE shipping option Add To My Existing Order | Combine w/Previous Order(s). Select this shipping option, and your new order will be combined with your previously placed sale order. That’s it! 

If you’re not seeing the Add To My Existing Order Shipping Option, please check that you are logged into the same account that you placed your original order with.

If you checkout as a guest, then you will not see this shipping option as you need to be logged into your account.

If you have any account issues, place a note on your order and then send an email to orders@severin-films.com and we will take care of it for you.

I want to place multiple orders and have them all ship separately. Is it possible to do that? Yes! For each order that you'd like to ship separately you will add in the product titled 'Order To Be Shipped Separately | Do Not Combine.' You will then select the appropriate shipping method at checkout. Each order that contains this unique product will ship separate from any other order that you place during the sale.

Your site is down/I cannot log in. Why? Please be mindful that our website will close down on Sunday (06/21) and will remain closed until the sale goes live at Midnight going into Friday (06/26). After the sale ends, the website will be closed again for a full week and will return on Tuesday, July 7th.

Sales Tax Policy

Do you charge sales tax? If your state requires us to collect and remit sales or other taxes, these amounts will be reflected in your shopping cart. 

We are required to charge and remit Value Added Taxes (VAT) on shipments to certain countries as a requirement for doing transactions to those countries. If we are required, you will see this amount in your shopping cart and your order will be shipped to you VAT prepaid.

Previously Severin Films was absorbing and paying all VAT and duties for all international orders, in addition to providing a subsidized shipping rate. Due to an increase in compliance procedures with all international couriers and customs authorities, these Value Added Taxes will now need to be passed along to the consumer. If required, you will see the applicable taxes in your shopping cart and your order will be shipped DDP (Delivery Duties Paid).

Do you ship internationally? What about free shipping? I thought your Free Shipping tiers were lower. Yes, we ship all over the world. Shipping rates are carefully calculated to factor in the ever-growing USPS (domestic) and FedEx (international) shipping rates, our handling fees, and supplies used. Our site also offers FREE economy shipping (Media Mail for U.S. orders). For FREE | REDUCED shipping eligibility:

  • U.S. residents must spend $100 and over.
  • Canadian residents: Severin Films NO LONGER offers Free Canadian Shipping. For this sale, Canadian Customers will be charged the normal rates until they reach the $150 USD mark, where they will be charged a flat fee of $25 USD for shipping.
  • All other countries: As of 2022, Severin Films NO LONGER offers Free International Shipping. For this sale, International Customers will be charged the normal rates until they reach the $200 USD mark, where they will be charged a flat fee of $25 USD for shipping.

PLEASE NOTE: The FREE SHIPPING | $25 FLAT FEE SHIPPING TIERS are raised at EVERY annual Sale of EVERY year. This is not a new process.

FOR CANADIAN AND OTHER INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS, PLEASE NOTE: If your order is returned back to our facility, we will contact the provided email to inform you of the situation and you will need to either pay for re-shipment of your order (unless the fault is on our end) or cancel it for a refund of just the cost of the items only.

Why are you not answering my emails? The ONLY acceptable place to email us during our Summer and Black Friday sales is orders@severin-films.com. Please do NOT email individual Severin employees at their personal email addresses. Please do NOT message Severin employees directly through their social media accounts. Questions about the sale, orders, or the website CANNOT be effectively answered through our any Social Media page as none of those pages are monitored by Customer Service Representatives. Please send ONE email to orders@severin-films.com ONLY.

I did not receive an order confirmation. Did my order go through? Confirmations get sent out to the provided emails on orders. Please ensure that the email you entered at checkout is accurate and free of misspellings (“.con” is a very common misspelling) and that you have checked all of your email folders (spam, junk, promotions, etc.) after placing the order. Also make sure you didn’t set up your account to receive order confirmations via text message to your phone. If you received a PayPal receipt please know this is valid confirmation that we have received your order, but if you’d prefer a receipt from us, please email orders@severin-films.com with RESEND MY ORDER CONFIRMATION in the subject line and it will be addressed as soon as possible. Please Note: We receive over a thousand emails at every sale so it will take time to respond to each and every person. Please do NOT send multiple emails. This only slows the process down for everyone.

What is the status of my order? When will I get my order? Will I get this order before an upcoming Holiday or Birthday? My best friend Slipcover Steve from two states over got his order before me, why? We will begin packing sale orders AFTER the sale ends so all orders can be combined as necessary. Early shipping notifications will start on Monday July 6th. We anticipate all shipping to be completed before September 8th. If there are any changes to this date an announcement will be made to social media. A tracking notification email will be sent to the email address that you provided us with via our shipping program, Shipstation, once your order is physically processed. Again, please ensure that the email address you give us is free of misspellings and that you have checked all of your email folders (spam, junk, promotions, etc.) for your confirmation BEFORE reaching out to us. 

Also, please don’t email us about how someone you know got their order already. We ask for your patience while we process all the orders in the weeks after the sale. PLEASE NOTE: We anticipate the Severin Sale shipping to last anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks. Please keep this in mind before emailing us about your order status. We do NOT guarantee Holiday or Birthday delivery so please keep that in mind when you are shopping our sale. We anticipate all shipping to be completed by Sept 8th. If there are any changes to this date an announcement will be made to social media.

Where is my order? Is my order lost? Can you do something about my traveling order? Once a processed order is picked up by the Postal Service or FedEx and leaves our facility, it is out of our hands and we have ZERO control over how fast or slow your package travels to its final destination. It is YOUR responsibility to take your tracking number to your local Post Office or FedEx and inquire with them about your delayed/potentially lost package. A helpful tool is to ask them to check the GPS coordinates of your package to see where it went. We will be happy to step in and resolve this issue once the tracking of your package has shown over two weeks of inactivity (or 2 months of inactivity for International orders). If you placed an order over $100 and think your delivered package was stolen, you will need to provide proof of a filed police report before we can resend a new package.

My package was marked as DELIVERED but I can’t find it anywhere. What do I do next? If the USPS or FedEx marked your package as “DELIVERED” yet you are unable to find it, please allow up to a week for them to fix this. Often you'll need to take your tracking number to your local Post Office or FedEx office and inquire with them about your mis-delivered/potentially lost package. With USPS, you can ask them to cross reference the GPS coordinates of your package to see where it was delivered where it was supposed to be. If a week has gone by and there is still no sign of your “DELIVERED” order, we will initiate a replacement. If you selected Free Shipping in the previous order, you will be charged for shipping plus adult signature confirmation for the replacement order. Any detection of fraud or chargeback will immediately result in a permanent suspension from ordering on our website.

I’d like to cancel all or part of my order. How do I do this? We're sorry to hear that you need to cancel an order but understand that circumstances change. Bear in mind that all orders are instantly sent over to our processing facility and may not be available to cancel.

Please reach out to us at orders@severin-films.com to cancel all or part of your order. Please note that there is a 3% cancellation fee for any cancellation going back to the original payment method. The cancellation fee is waved for refunds issued as Store Credit. Please email orders@severin-films.com with CANCEL MY ORDER in the subject line and it will be addressed as soon as possible. If the correct subject line is not put in (or you send multiple emails), then you run the risk of your email not being answered in a timely manner.

I received my order but there is a mistake or something is damaged in transit. How can we fix this? If we gave you the wrong item or forgot an item then no problem, we'll fix it. Please email orders@severin-films.com with INCORRECT ORDER in the subject line and it will be addressed as soon as possible AFTER we have completed shipping all Severin Films’ Sale orders. If the correct subject line is not used (or you send multiple emails), then you run the risk of your email not being answered in a timely manner. Be mindful that we do hand-weigh EVERY package when it’s completed and labeled, so we can tell if a customer is committing fraud by telling us they didn’t receive an item when in fact they did. For either damaged items or incorrect items sent, you’ll be asked to provide pictures for our records. Email orders@severin-films.com with DAMAGED ITEM in the subject line and it will be addressed as soon as possible AFTER we have completed shipping all Severin Films’ Sale orders.

My Slipcover/Box set has a tiny ding on it. Can I get a replacement? Per our Slipcover and Box Set Replacement Policies, we do not replace items with minor wear and tear, small dings/dents, or minor scuffs. We would only replace slipcovers and outer boxes of severely damaged* sets, and will ask for pictures for our records. Thank you for your understanding. Nothing is perfect in life, physical media is no different. If there are any *severe damages, please contact orders@severin-films.com.

*SEVERE DAMAGE

  • Slipcovers/Box Sets with tears greater than 1/2 inch or if there is any water damage. Dinged corners are common and are not considered damaged unless it affects a 1/2 inch area or more of the spine.
  • Art wraps with tears that are larger than 1/2 inch or if there is any noticeable water damage. Pictures of damage are required.
  • Cases if there are tears in the plastic, any cracks, or crushed/broken pieces.
  • Discs that are scratched, if the scratch is larger than 1 inch. For small or minor scratches, we require confirmation of playback issues before replacement. Scuffs are generally cosmetic and rarely affect play. Therefore, we will not replace a disc for a scuff unless there are playback issues. Pictures of damage and playback issues will be required.

Where are the DVDs? We have officially phased out our DVD releases from our webstore, aside from a small handful of our DVD-only releases.

Can I be rude and insult your Customer Service team? Please don't. Any rudeness or harassment will NOT be tolerated and such emails will NOT be responded to and you will be blocked.

Are your Blu-rays/DVDs region free? Most of them are, but a small amount are not. Each listing on our site will have Region Code information included within.

If I pre-order an item, will I be charged when it ships or upfront? Upfront.
